Research Data is manipulated to get the desired result

You might have heard RECOUP employees boasting in social media sites that they have published this much papers in international journals.  As we know it is very easy to increase the number of data collected so that it gets published in well-known journal, and this “Unethical” manipulation work is done by RECOUP staff.
They have made their own protocol for different conditions for publication purpose only, as their employees are not applying on patients. For every patient, they are only doing massage and basic exercises. To support their treatment protocol, they have done the research “Virtually”.
They know one thing very clearly that to publish in International journals, number of participants or subject in the research paper should be more. It is very easy to convert 100 participants into 1000. Few employees who worked with them in research department disclosed this matter so that we can bring the reality to you.
It would also be very surprising to you that how RECOUP has published more than 100s of research papers. It’s very simple, suppose if you have taken 50 subjects in one paper, after 1 year you just increase to 100 with slight modification in title. Automatically you will get one extra research papers.

Whether it is IRB (Approved)???
They have formed the IRB to fool the reviewer of international publication. The truth is, they don’t take advice from the IRB, they just send the papers for signature. No presentation, no ethical committee approval.

ERGONOMIC WORKPLACE ANALYSIS Courses at RECOUP

ERGONOMICS Courses at RECOUP

Deepak Sharan, the director of RECOUP runs the Ergonomics Workplace analysis courses at a very high rate.
I attended their course and found that the course value which is rated 6000-12000 INR isn’t a worth to that money given. The topics taken in that workshop limits to the execution for the PTs and OTs as it needs good reference in Big companies. What a PT & OT needs actually to learn is “How to give awareness talks in companies” and “How to do an basic ergonomic workplace analysis”. No doubt for a higher rate they teach basics and at the more than higher rate they teach Advanced Course. To be frank they have lot of material but lacks presentation and teaching skills.
For reaching RECOUP which is located in the outskirts they don’t provide any travelling help. Their mentality is getting less people register for the course at higher rate and earning a good amount. Perhaps these few people will leave feedback which is dissatisfaction only.
The complains of attendees are –
1.      The place is in the outskirt. Even if you call at the reception there is hardly any person who will pick up and reply properly. Most of the receptionist don’t know even that the course is being conducted at that place and they have guests to come. There is no coordination in the management. Perhaps the reason is that the managers ain’t trained in better management and they are not from the background of Business Management and Administration.
2.      The food isn’t good. They have a small canteen and they will not get the food from outside for a highly paid course. They are miser I tell you.
3.      The hall isn’t cool and isn’t ergonomic friendly at all for a three to six days course
4.      Most of the material which they teach isn’t updated with recent findings and is taken from the internet.
5.      The trainers are moving around the bush and isn’t teaching the main requirements for starting Ergonomics at PTs/OTs end.
And the worst thing for the foreigners who register for a one month course is that they have to go to the FRRO to register without any help from Management. For a letter from the management the person have to wait for a week as there are so many grammatical mistakes.

A torture place for employees at RECOUP

Situated in a silent place 3 KM from the highway (NICE Road, Bangalore), where you will not get any emergency medical help. To buy the general items, you have to walk for more than 1 km. If you want to see how south Indian villages look like, you can join this organization.

Few of my friends were working in this money making rehabilitation center which is being run by an orthopedic doctor. They have their own self-boasting website which claim that more than 150 therapist are working in their hospital, which is totally non-sense. If today you count, not more than 80 therapists are working in that hospital (Its a Nursing home with one physician and one ortho doctor).

To get the job one has to sign a contract paper of 3 years, along with that you need to give a cheque of 30 thousand RS. If you are leaving before 3 year they will cash your cheque and you won’t get any experience letter. You need to give 2 months’ notice before leaving the place after 3 years. See the double standard of this company, they want candidates to join in a “short notice period (1 week to 20 days)” but to resign one has to inform 2 months before. Is it not funny?

The director is blindly trust on his most senior employees like Ramesh, jerrish, muniyandi. These people are torturing physiotherapists and occupational therapists because they know that the doctor is fully dependent on them and no one can remove them. Because of these reasons therapists are unable to deliver their duties in productive way. These new therapist are now least bother about the progress of this company, they just want to complete their contract period.

Ramesh who is pediatric dept. manager (now academic manager) used to increase the no. of sessions of patients, only to generate the revenue (this was noticed by parents and therapist). Suppose if patients are less for any month, he will increase the sessions to compensate the loss.

Many therapist who left the job before 3 years without paying the contract fees have got the threatening calls from Muniyandi, Administrative manager (Now he has shifted to peripheral clinics as he was unable to manage the administrative issues). He has threatened many therapist who left the job, that he will spoil the professional carrier if you will not pay the due. Few employees are having the call records also.

Now the question is why these managers are not leaving the job? Because they are over-paid; they know that no college will need their teaching services as they are just a massage therapist who have diverted their profession only for money. They won’t get the job in hospital also as no employer will higher the person who only knows how to burn their ass at one place.

TREATMENT AT RECOUP

Horrible place to get treated. Patients are treated as their research "pigs". An on every consultation the doctor will ask the list of high cost bloods tests to be done that too from his laboratory only. Only after that a patient can get Physiotherapy treatment that too from his centre only. Money making person at the cost of humanity. The doctor doesn't have courtesy to look into patient eyes even. Therapists leave job every now and then because of dissatisfaction with the unethical ways. Only the patients are getting compromised coz every other day they are being treated by different therapists.

The doctor knows only four or five conditions which he lists in all the patients. And those conditions are MPS, Fibromyalgia, TOS, CRPS and Inflammatory Arthritis. Any therapist or patient or family Entering Recoup should ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

You will be shocked to know the opinion of RECOUP's patients/Employees

Is it true that more than 150 therapist is working in RECOUP Hospital?

A big No
If you see the list of Physiotherapist/occupation therapist in their website, only 4 or 5 therapist are working since more than 4-5 years. So you can say that all the staffs are almost new.
As most people knows that their (RECOUP) employee used to leave the job within one year. Many have left the job within 1 month.

They are not deleting the name of the employee who resigned the job. So in that way their website is not showing the actual number of therapist working under RECOUP. The actual number is less than 80, not 150 or more.
Now it is very clear that RECOUP Hospital, Bangalore is fooling the patient/public by simply exaggerating the numbers.

below is the link of their website. You can cross check how many of them are working.

Review about JOBS at RECOUP

Review about RECOUP hospital

Lets start with Dr. Deepak Sharan
He is the Director of RECOUP Hospital

- This hospital is located in the outskirts of Bangalore.
There is no transportation available to reach from city to the hospital.
There is no departmental store even or shops even to buy household stuffs.

Talking about the Doctor and REVIEW ABOUT SEMLARASS
He claims to do multilevel surgery for cerebral palsy with good outcomes but the reality is that the research papers or the data are manipulated to show the desired outcomes. If you will ask the parents of the cerebral palsy children who were treated by him, most of them will say that we are not satisfied.

Also that the child becomes robotic after the surgery.

The doctor doesn't have the manners to talk to the patient. He will not see eye to eye with the patients and almost all his patients will be having Myofascial Pain Syndrome.
If the record of this doctor is opened all his patients suffer either from four or five patent diagnosis which he claims to be master at.

He will ask the patient to get few lab tests in his own lab which will cost the patient more than the consultation fees.
