ERGONOMIC WORKPLACE ANALYSIS Courses at RECOUP

ERGONOMICS Courses at RECOUP

Deepak Sharan, the director of RECOUP runs the Ergonomics Workplace analysis courses at a very high rate.
I attended their course and found that the course value which is rated 6000-12000 INR isn’t a worth to that money given. The topics taken in that workshop limits to the execution for the PTs and OTs as it needs good reference in Big companies. What a PT & OT needs actually to learn is “How to give awareness talks in companies” and “How to do an basic ergonomic workplace analysis”. No doubt for a higher rate they teach basics and at the more than higher rate they teach Advanced Course. To be frank they have lot of material but lacks presentation and teaching skills.
For reaching RECOUP which is located in the outskirts they don’t provide any travelling help. Their mentality is getting less people register for the course at higher rate and earning a good amount. Perhaps these few people will leave feedback which is dissatisfaction only.
The complains of attendees are –
1.      The place is in the outskirt. Even if you call at the reception there is hardly any person who will pick up and reply properly. Most of the receptionist don’t know even that the course is being conducted at that place and they have guests to come. There is no coordination in the management. Perhaps the reason is that the managers ain’t trained in better management and they are not from the background of Business Management and Administration.
2.      The food isn’t good. They have a small canteen and they will not get the food from outside for a highly paid course. They are miser I tell you.
3.      The hall isn’t cool and isn’t ergonomic friendly at all for a three to six days course
4.      Most of the material which they teach isn’t updated with recent findings and is taken from the internet.
5.      The trainers are moving around the bush and isn’t teaching the main requirements for starting Ergonomics at PTs/OTs end.
And the worst thing for the foreigners who register for a one month course is that they have to go to the FRRO to register without any help from Management. For a letter from the management the person have to wait for a week as there are so many grammatical mistakes.
